SQL Server has stopped responding to queries

I've just taken over a SQL Server 2000 database, and after a server crash over the weekend, it has stopped responding to queries. The server has been rebooted cleanly, all the services have started and there are no SQL errors on the event log. The box is also active on the domain. Any help would be appreciated.

That's pretty difficult to troubleshoot via a disconnected e-mail. Can you connect to the SQL Server? Can you register it in Enterprise Manager? Can you ping the server by both name and IP address? Can you access the file system remotely using Windows Explorer? Are all of the databases online and accessible? I would also suggest opening a support case with Microsoft.
