Main Menu – Once you load the media into the DVD drive the following splash screen will load.
To install a SQL Server 2005 instance, select the 'Server components, tools, Books Online and samples' option under the 'Install' heading.

End User License Agreement – Review the End User License Agreement (EULA) and once complete select the 'I accept the licensing terms and conditions' check box.
This acceptance will activate the 'Next' button, so click this button to proceed.

Installing Prerequisites – Click the 'Next' button once the prerequisites are determined.

Welcome – Press the 'Next' button to begin the installation process.

System Configuration Check – The installation application will review 15 components on the server and determine success of failure.
If necessary, review the report options on the bottom right of the screen.
Press the 'Next' button to proceed.

Installation – A progress bar will indicate the status of the installation.
No action needed.
