10 of 15 replication tips: Check subscriber status with Replication Monitor Group
When you use Pull Subscriptions, you will have to visit each subscriber to see if the agents are healthy or to see failures. Replication Monitor Group allows you to glance at the status of your subscribers and their agents.
To use Replication Monitor Group, select Tools, Replication and Show Replication Monitor Group. At the bottom of your SQL Server Group Tree you will find the Replication Monitor Group node. Right click and select Add Distributor to Monitor. Hold down the CTRL key, select Multiple Publishers, and click OK.
Servers with replication agent failures will show up with white X's on a red circular background in Replication Monitor. You can drill down on servers and fix the failed agents, change profiles or adjust the properties of the job for performance, recovery or debugging.
