7 of 15 replication tips: Change your polling interval

To change your polling interval, right click on your Log Reader Agent and your Distribution Agent. Select Agent Properties, click on the Steps tab, and double click Run Agent. Click in the Command text box, press the End key and type - PollingInterval 1.

This will make your Log Reader Agent read the log every second instead of the default 10 seconds and make the Distribution Agent read the distribution database every second instead of the default 60 seconds.
