QUESTION POSED ON: 12 March 2008
What are the advantages to upgrading to SQL Server 2008? We have a data warehouse of 40 GB with 24 facts and 13 dimensions. What are the hardware requirements for upgrading to SQL Server 2008?

>
EXPERT RESPONSE
SQL Server 2008 will include several new data types and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) features which will come in handy when creating your data warehouse schema and loading data. Your hardware requirements are basically the same as SQL Server 2005.
