QUESTION POSED ON: 19 March 2006
I am looking for resources on business intelligence and data mining in SQL Server 2005. I am looking for learning resources. I am familiar with databases, unfortunately I have only used Access in the past. How do I get started?

>
The best place to start is the book store. There are couple of good books on data mining. Look for author Jamie MacLennan for data mining and Hitachi Consulting for Analysis Services. My book will give your great overview of the whole product.

There are also some good webcasts and papers on MSDN.microsoft.com.
