QUESTION POSED ON: 27 June 2005
I've used SQL DMO object to take a complete backup at a scheduled time to a network computer. It works fine if all of the users are logged in are the same in the network. It fails if there are different users using the network. How can we overcome this problem?

I am not exactly I understand the question. The SQL Server backup process should work regardless of who is connected to the database at the time of the backup. Are you saying that different users are trying to run the backup job and sometimes it works and sometimes it does not? If this is the case, check to make sure the user that is issuing the backup command has rights to access the network drive and can also access the share you are trying to write to. Also, make sure the user that is issuing the command has rights to run backups.
