QUESTION POSED ON: 07 June 2002
I have just formatted the HD of one of my bosses, but every time I try to connect to our database I get this message:
[microsoft][odbc sql server driver][shared memory]connection open (connect)
Please help me out, lunch on me. Thanks.

Install the latest version of MDAC installed. You probably have parts of multiple versions of MDAC floating around on the machine.
