Service not starting from dedicated domain user account

I have set up a dedicated domain user account and added it to the local administrator on a server. I then use this account to run the SQL Server service, but the service refuses to start. Am I missing something? I have nothing in the error log or event viewer (besides the same error number 1053, service did not respond in a timely fashion). Help...

I would check you networking as well as the domain controller. It isn't starting, because the domain controller is not responding to the authentication request.
