Recovering lost data by examining transaction logs

I made a system release at 12 p.m. and overwrote a table by mistake. I have a backup from the night before (12 a.m.), but from the time I did the backup and the time of the release some records were lost as they were written to the DB during that time. Can I examine the transaction logs to recover the data?

Depending on the recovery model of your database you should be able to retrieve these transitions from the transaction log and replay them to recover the data. There are several products in the market such as:
