How to set a trigger to execute daily

Greg Low explains how to schedule T-SQL jobs.

I created a trigger on tblauditordetails. I want the trigger to be executed once daily, or at regular intervals. Could you please suggest the best way to get it done?
It really doesn't sound like a trigger you're after. Look into scheduling a T-SQL job, using SQL Agent. You can schedule it to run once a day or at regular intervals.
